
Are Gem Beauty Collection's products vegan and/or plant-based?
Yes, all our products are made with plant-based ingredients. The only exception to this is our Honey & Turmeric Cleansing Bar which includes Honey.
All of our ingredients are nontoxic, paraben free and ethically sourced - free of all questionable 'nasties'. Just pure, simple ingredients from nature.
What is the shelf-life of the products?
Each product label displays the recommended shelf life of that product. This symbol is a half opened container with a number - that number represents the shelf life from open date.
To ensure continued freshness, we recommend storing all products in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and using them within the recommended shelf life.
Do you use preservatives?
Yes, to protect both the product and you our customer, we use a natural presrvative in our water based products and products that are likely to come into contact with water.
Our preservative of choice is Leucidal Complete, which is made from Radish Root Ferment & Coconut Fruit Extract. It offers broad-spectrum antimicrobial protection, preventing the growth of bacteria, yeasts and moulds. It also has additional skin moisturizing and conditioning benefits.
Where do you ship from and how long will it take to get my order?
We are located in Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA.
We make every attempt to ship your order within 2 days of receipt. We ship with both USPS & UPS and the standard domestic delivery time is usually 2-5 days.
International shipping times vary.

Once your order has shipped you will receive a shipment confirmation email.

Are your products suitable for senstive skin, babies and pregnant women?
All our products are free of toxic, harmful ingredients (such as parabens, fragrance, phthalates, triclosan, formaldehyde, sulfates etc) and are generally safe for every and anyone.
All our products are generally non-irritating and suitable for sensitive skin. We do however have a sensitive skin collection with products specifcally made for senstive skin. However, it is improtant to note that natural ingredients can still cause allergic reactions. We recommend patch testing products or consulting a doctor if you have any concerns.
Does Gem Beauty Collection accept returns/exchanges?
Due to the nature of our products all sales are final and not eligible for return or exchanges.

How often should I use my products ?
Here is a quick and general guide for using our different types of products:
Cleansing Bars - Daily (both am & pm)
Oil Cleansers - Every other night (nights)
Face Scrubs - 1-2x weekly
Face Masks - 1 -2x weekly
Face Serums - Daily
Face Treatments - Daily or spot treat as necessary
